Bridge Acres Stable is Where Dreams Come True

April 2016

Searching for a show series or a summer camp for the dedicated young equestrian? Look no further than Bridge Acres Stable in Lancaster, PA. Shows feature hunter and equitation classes and a $300 prize hunter derby. An $800 prize field derby will be offered at the July 23 and October 8 shows. Some classes are qualifiers for the Colonial Classic, the local champions’ finals at the Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA, over Labor Day Weekend, September 3-4, 2016.

Bridge Acres Stable’s 2016 summer camp program dates are June 13-17, June 20-24, July 11-16, and July 25-29. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 am until 3 pm. Each day, campers ride for two hours, eat a lunch provided from home, do crafts, go on scavenger hunts, paint horse shoes, and much more. Field trips to the blacksmith to watch him work on horseshoes and to the vet for important questions about veterinary care will delight and educate campers. Campers must be at least six years old and no older than thirteen years old to participate. No riding experience is necessary, and campers may sign up for more than one week of camp.
