Discover a Whole-istic Approach to Horses
with Evon Montgomery

April 2016

Evon Montgomery is an Equine Education Specialist who operates Saxony Farm in Saxonburg, PA. As well as giving clinics, hosting events, teaching riding lessons and conducting equine seminars, Evon teaches horse ownership basics and is a member of AQHA, APHA, NRHA, ACTHA, WDAA and ISRB. She is a certified Level 1 International Society of Rider Biomechanics Instructor and Western Dressage Association “Train the Trainer” graduate and has completed equine massage and chiropractic courses.

Evon hosts clinics at Saxony Farm that incorporate English and Western riding, obstacles and trail riding, and address tack, behavior and lameness issues. Participants discover a “Whole-istic” approach to horses. Evon custom designs clinics for facilities on topics such as Western Dressage, Obstacle Challenges and Biomechanics.

Evon developed the HORSES 1, 2, 3 Riding System, with ground and riding exercises that make sense to both horses and humans. Both horse and rider learn cues, rhythm, timing and feel while developing trust and respect. The result is a CALM, CONFIDENT and COLLECTED team.

Evon has produced numerous DVD’s and is the author of Horse Behavior and Body Language, Horse Ownership Basics, Travel and Camping with Horses and a contributing writer for ACTHA Magazine and Horse Connections Magazine.

Saxony Farm is a 500-acre facility with stalls and paddocks for guests to keep their horses during clinics and a small office facility for meals, meetings and seminars. Most of all there are hours of riding through wooded trails, open fields alongside two placid lakes and a half-mile race track. Saxony Farm has plenty of flat parking for trailers and easy turn around. Contact Evon today to schedule YOUR event at evonmontgomery.com or (724) 360-0171.

Evon will be at Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio April 7-10, 2016. Look her up in booth # 312 Bricker Building.
