The Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders, age 14-21. Young equestrian vie for team and individual FEI medals. The competition is run under rules of the Olympic FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale), the international governing body for equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championship held annually on this continent. The event will be held July 26-31 at the Colorado Horse Park and will encompass the disciplines of dressage, jumping, reining, eventing, endurance and para-dressage.

To raise funds to send local Area II Young Riders to the Colorado Horse Park this year, Q-Brook Stables, Malvern, PA will host a fundraiser on May 7 from 7 to 11 pm. The Beef and Beer Benefit will feature food (with vegetarian options), drinks, live music, a silent auction, and 50/50 raffle. Donations are tax deductible.
