Instead of preparing for winter this year, why not skip the whole season of cold and snow and head to Florida?
Former Philadelphian Tami Fratis has opened 60-acre Tamarian Farms in Ocala, FL, located 3.5 miles from the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and just 6 miles to the HITS showgrounds. She is looking for an up-and-coming trainer who would like to try the Florida winter season ‘without spending an arm and leg’.
Tamarian Farm features 25 stalls in an indoor Morton barn, which has a 200' x 100' GGT indoor ring with lights and BigAss fans. Attached to the indoor are two 60' round pens. Outside are 20 acres of paddocks and 25 acres of trails. The farm also has a clubhouse with country club-like amenities.
Ocala, called “The Horse Capital of the World,™” has become the epicenter of equestrian excellence in the United States for premier trainers, riders, and professional breeders – including Kentucky Derby contenders.
Tamarian Farms is a first-rate training facility, welcoming professionals and aspiring hopefuls on equal footing in a judgment-free environment. It’s fast becoming a haven for riders and professional competitors. Both long-term horse owners and those new to riding or who want to get back in the saddle again find an atmosphere of encouragement and positivity at Tamarian Farms.
